Spicy Apple Cinnamon Infusion
There's something so comforting about the smell of apples and cinnamon wafting through your kitchen, and no flavor combination more symbolic of fall (sorry, pumpkin spice). In less time than it takes to bake an apple pie, you can be sipping a Spicy Apple Cinnamon Infusion. Fire Cider gives this warming concoction a kick, making it a great addition to your morning lineup and taste you'll want to savor all season long!
This Spicy Apple Cinnamon Infusion is apple cider’s more interesting cousin. The result is a slightly sweet, slightly spicy infusion that will give you all the fall feels and warm your bones from the inside out.
Serves: 1-2
Prep time: 5 min.
Cook time: 20 min
Ingredients:
2 cups water
¼ cup maple syrup
1 ½ cups diced apples>
2 cinnamon sticks
¼ cup Fire Cider Original (substitute Honey-Free to make it vegan)
Method:
1. Add the water, maple syrup, diced apples, and cinnamon sticks to a saucepan over high heat
2. Bring to a boil
3. Cover, and reduce the heat to low
4. Simmer for 20 minute before straining out the apples and cinnamon
5. Add Fire Cider
6. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
