Meet the Team: Jeff

Team Fire Cider

Summer is zooming along, so we pumped the brakes just long enough to catch up with Jeff Astore, Wholesale Account Manager and all-round genuine, sporty guy!  We took some time to chat about where he stands on important subjects like football (likes it!), apple cider donuts (loves ‘em!), and raking leaves (does not enjoy!). Mainly we reminisced about the 80s and the early days of MTV. Would he choose tacos over pizza? Keep reading to find out!

Fire City, Shire City Herbals, Behind the Scenes, Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic, ACV

How long have you been part of the Team? I started on June 25th, so about a month and a half.

What do you do here at HQ? As Wholesale Account Manager, I oversee the onboarding of all new Wholesale Direct accounts. I assist our partners with orders, and reach out to folks with businesses that might be a good fit for Fire Cider.

What is your favorite way to use Fire Cider? As my morning shot, straight up with no chaser!

Tacos or Pizza? Pizza….. but a good fish taco can quickly move to the top of the list.

Two favorite movies? Fast Times at Ridgemont High (my all-time favorite!) and All the Right Moves (though There’s Something About Mary comes very close to 2nd place)

What's your favorite music? genre/musician?  I like just about every type of music.  Favorite band is Aerosmith. I was fortunate to see them in concert about 15 years ago.

Okay, tell us something that not many people know about you. In High School I was voted… Most Nonchalant and Best Hair (who said the mullet was good for nothing?)

How many states have you lived in? Just Massachusetts. I was born and raised in Pittsfield, and moved back after graduating from college. Might sound pretty boring, but my family lives here and I have never doubted the choice I made.

We're looking ahead to Fall - anything you love about the season? Football, definitely! Here in Western Massachusetts the fall foliage is just spectacular, and enjoy going to all our local fall festivals with my family. Autumn weekends are prime time for apple picking and cider donuts.
