Adding to our bevvy of amazing cocktails, the crisp tang of green onions puts a new spin on the classic martini!
Start with green onion infused vodka!
One 750-milliliter bottle vodka
1 pound spring onions
1. In a large mason jar, combine the vodka and onions. Infuse at room temperature for 12 hours. No longer or the onion flavor will become overwhelming!
2. Strain the mixture and return the liquid to the bottle. Keep refrigerated.
Make your cocktail!
2 ounces spring onion-infused vodka
1 oz dry vermouth
garnish - we used a pearl onion but you could pickle some green onions or ramps to use!
1. Ready a chilled glass.
2. Combine the vodka and vermouth. Stir until chilled, then strain into a chilled martini glass.
3. Garnish and serve.
If you'd like a bit of a dirty martini cut the vermouth in half and add in a 1/2 oz of Fire Cider!
